First in-person workshop to exchange experiences and knowledge, Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Division of Natural Resources (DRN) of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), the YPF Tecnología (Y-TEC) of Argentina, the Bolivian Lithium Deposits (YLB) of Bolivia and the Corporation for the Development of Production (CORFO) of Chile, with the support of the MINSUS-GIZ program of German Cooperation, will hold the first in-person workshop for the exchange of experiences and knowledge, Buenos Aires, Argentina, within the framework of the permanent forum for technical dialogue on innovation, development technological and value addition to lithium in the Triangle countries.

This workshop seeks the objective of exchanging experiences and knowledge through the execution of the following activities of the Forum’s Biennial Action Plan: 1) Axis I of Technological Surveillance: status of direct lithium extraction technology and integrated monitoring of salt flats; 2) Axis 2 of Exchange of Experiences, Knowledge and Information. The workshop is organized into three technical sections and two visits, one to the YPF Tecnología (Y-TEC) laboratories and another to the Unilib plant, located in Berisso, Buenos Aires Province of Argentina.

The Exchange of Experiences and knowledge is aimed at the delegations of the countries that are part of the Lithium Forum.
