The alliance between Honor and Harcourt Studio from Paris puts in the hands of users a set of new solutions aimed at take portraits with a professional finish, with different finishes that are powered by a new dedicated AI engine.

It is the combination of the three lenses which form the main camera of Honor 200 Pro (main, telephoto and ultra wide angle/macro) and the AI ​​engine which substantially improves the finish of the photographs, due to the management of light, shadows and depth.

Additionally, you can use some filters, collected under the Harcourt mode, that introduce different lighting and color effects to obtain results more suited to professional studies.

Thus, in the portrait section of the main camera, you can find Vibrant Harcourt, that accentuates natural colors; Harcourt Colorwhich reduces the intensity with the support of more neutral colors, such as beige; and Harcourt Classicwhich highlights the subject in black and white.

On the front camera, Honor has introduced a tweak called ‘Mirror reflection’which makes the portrait we take with this camera appear as if we were looking in a mirror, without changing the meaning.

This smartphone also offers outstanding zoom performance. The 50MP telephoto lens supports a digital zoom of up to 50x magnificationwhich shows hardly any distortion when taken to its last value.

The wide angle, on the other hand, which covers a field of view of 112ºdarkens the colors a little, but it doesn’t prevent the result from being artificial – in fact, quite the opposite; by not saturating the colors, it is somewhat more realistic.

This quick test of the Honor 200 Pro camera highlights offers good results and increases creative possibilities with the modes designed together with Harcourt, both in portrait photography and in general photography.
