Find X8 Pro promises professional results with its Hasselblad camera, AI and dual 120x periscopic telephoto lens

After two years without leaving the Chinese market, lOPPO’s Find X series returns to the international scene, also arriving in Spain, where it intends to conquer the high-end with a camera system co-developed with Hasselblad and a double periscopic telephoto lens supported by artificial intelligence (AI) for a zoom of up to 120x.

Find X8 Pro embodies OPPO’s innovation in mobile photography. In this device, the most advanced model in the Find X8 series, the company combines ‘hardware’, ‘software’ and artificial intelligence to offer professional quality results, in any scenario.

The alliance with Hasselblad, launched in 2022 with the Find X5 series, updates the camera’s suite of advanced imaging solutions to help consumers get portraits with higher definition when the bokeh effect is applied and more context of small objects in low-light environmentsas in night photography.

The adjustments provided by Hasselblad are joined by AI functions that OPPO has incorporated, some of them new, like Instant AI, that captures a burst of photos at up to seven frames per second to offer the best result in motion photography and that also takes advantage of the HyperTone Image Engine to preserve the integrity of the image.

Livephoto, Meanwhile, it generates high-quality accompaniment clips. To do this, it captures the essence of each moment with cinema-quality dynamic range and stabilization in each clip.

The dual telescopic telephoto system offers gapless zoom performance and is composed of a first lens (LYT-600) that supports up to three optical magnifications, while the second (IMX858), 135mm, reaches six magnifications, in both cases without losing quality, to achieve a professional finish in remote photography.

It is the combination of this ‘hardware’ and AI that takes the zoom up to 120x, but it does so in intervals: from 10 to 20x a post-processing job is carried out with AI and from 20 to 60x, a generation work. From here, and until reaching 120, only generative AI intervenes.
