Just yesterday AMD published on its own website AMD.com that its processors AMD Ryzen 7000X3D with 3D cache were to be available on February 14. However, it seems that there has been a confusion or an error on the part of the company, and they have just sent a communication advising that said information is not correct and that they have not yet confirmed any release date.
If we enter the company’s website, the launch information that appeared yesterday no longer appears, so we will have to wait for AMD to announce an official launch date for its line of processors destined to reclaim the throne of gaming performance.
The AMD Ryzen 7000X3D processors will consist of three models, from the Ryzen 7 7800X3D until the Ryzen 9 7950X3D with 8 and 16 cores respectively and caches ranging from 104 MB to 144 MB. The intermediate model is AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D with 12 cores and 140 MB cache.
Processor | Cores/Threads | Base/Turbo Speed | L2+L3 cache | TDP |
---|---|---|---|---|
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 8/16 |
4.X/5.0GHz |
104MB | 120W |
AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D | 12/24 | 4.4/5.6GHz | 140MB | 120W |
AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D | 16/32 | 4.2/5.7GHz | 144MB | 120W |
AMD statement:
As you know, yesterday AMD.com posted a release date for the Ryzen7000X3D Series desktop processors. However, it is incorrect. We haven’t confirmed a release date yet. We will provide updates on the expected availability of these processors at a future date.
