It hasn’t even been a month since the launch of the Google Pixel 7abut as we can see in phone arenawe are already facing a large-caliber leak that follows the Google tradition of being totally incapable of hiding the devices they work on. Also, this video reveals a curious feature, and it is neither more nor less than a body thermometer.
The video that we see below these lines is a representation of how this feature will work, but it is done on a mockup that supposedly shows the final design of what will be the Google Pixel 8 Pro, a terminal that, although it has aesthetic changes, has a continuous aesthetic.
The main aesthetic change is seen in the rear, where the three cameras live together behind the same protective glass, in addition to including this additional sensor whose function was unknown until now. Also, in the front part we find a much flatter screen, ditching the steeper curves of the Pixel 7 Pro’s edges.
Undoubtedly, it is too soon to know what we will find, but it is definitely difficult for the design of the terminal to change, especially after both the CAD files and a mockup of the terminal have been leaked.
Update: The video showing the feature in action has been removed.
