Farming Simulator has left annual deliveries behind and has instead opted for season passes, but from time to time the base game has to be renewed and this is what Giants Software will do this year. The Swiss developer has announced Farming Simulator 25, the new installment of the agricultural simulator that will be available on November 12 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).

Among the new features of Farming Simulator 25, fresh water for growing rice stands out. The arrival of the liquid element along with more than 400 machines and items from more than 150 international brands, as well as new functions and visual improvements, promise to add “even more agricultural depth and diversity.” Regarding the scenarios chosen so that players can start an adventure and build their agricultural empire, we have a landscape located in East Asia with rice fields, a North American environment with open spaces and a Central European location with green fields between ponds and rivers.

Giants Software will provide more details on Farming Simulator 25 as the release date approaches. For now we can add that this delivery adds new crops such as two types of rice and spinach to increase the available options to more than 20. New animals such as buffaloes are also introduced, joining cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, horses and other livestock, while new production chains and construction missions will expand business opportunities.

On a technological level, Farming Simulator 25 presents a graphic update and improved physics based on the latest version of Giants Software’s Engine 10, which maintains support for mods. Among the new features we have remote fog, dynamic weather effects, improved shadows, terrain deformation and more. For those interested in brands, there will be no shortage of vehicles and items from Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland and Valtra among others.

Farming Simulator 25 content will be expanded with season passes. The first contemplates four releases in 2025, including an expansion that will add a new map. For the most enthusiastic there is a collector’s edition that accompanies the base game with a keychain, a USB ignition lock with two keys, Farming Simulator 16-bit Retro Edition with Windows emulator on DVD, the soundtrack, stickers, posters and more.
