Agents from the General Investigations and Special Operations Division (Digos) are investigating what happened, analyzing the images to try to identify the authors of the attack.

The mayor of TurinStefano Lo Russo expressed his solidarity with the journalist: “Freedom of the press is a fundamental pillar of democracy and any attack on those who exercise the right to inform is an attack on democratic values ​​themselves.”

“Episodes of violence and vile aggression such as this, for which I hope those responsible will be held accountable as soon as possible, must have no place in our city. They cannot be tolerated at all and must be firmly condemned by all political forces,” he said.
