Halloween just happened and many people around the world, including big celebrities, took the opportunity to celebrate it with references to video games. There was a group of fans who took the tradition of carving pumpkins and their love of Pokémon to another level, as they carved dozens of pumpkins with the designs of the largest generation of the series.
“At least it’s not Unova,” mentioned the youtuber It’s Adrian! and his friends when they celebrated Halloween every year by carving pumpkins with Pokémon designs for the past 5 years. However, this year it was the turn of this region, so it was the most demanding both to get pumpkins and to carve them.
Before, It’s Adrian! he had to make a design of all the Pokémon and draw them on the pumpkins. It is important to mention that 1 design per pumpkin was not used, but the same pumpkin was used to include 2 designs from the same evolutionary line. One thing to note is that the alternate forms of Kyurem (Black Kyurem and White Kyurem), Meloetta (Lyric Form and Dance Form), Deerling and Sawsbuck (Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter), Tornadus, Thundurus were not included. and Landorus (Avatar Form and Totem Form) or Keldeo (Usual Form and Dash Form).

Unova’s 156 Pokemon were carved into pumpkins
Considering that pumpkins are a fruit that perishes quickly, It’s Adrian’s time is very limited from when he gets them until he displays them ready in his house. For this reason, he receives help from coaches who contribute to the cause.
Although the task was very difficult this year, in the end the hard work paid off and the 156 designs were carved into the pumpkins just in time for Halloween.

It is important to say that the waste at the end in previous years has been used as compost, so this year it should be the same. On the other hand, if this fan continues with the tradition, it would be the turn of Kalos, the region that debuted in Pokémon X & Yand the good news is that the task will be the easiest, since it is the generation with the fewest designs in the history of the series, with only 72 debuting creatures.
