The video features characters such as Ororon, Mavuika and Kinichwhich would be released at some point in the new update. Unfortunately, they are the target of criticism because fans are once again pointing out alleged cultural appropriation and whitening (whitewashing) of characters in which HoYoverse incurred.
For them, the evidence is clear, literal, as they point out that the Chinese company is once again drawing inspiration from real-life ethnic deities or groups to design its characters, but curiously this is not reflected in their skin color.
