Facebook changes its design and adds a very useful new tab for those who get information using the social network

Meta has just released an update that redesigns Facebook and adds a new tab that is designed for those people who are informed with the social network.

Meta’s social network par excellence continues to receive changes, and Mark Zuckerberg’s company has not abandoned Facebook in favor of Instagram. The last thing that has been seen about this social network is that the plans that the company has is to make it increasingly useful for the users who stay inside.

Of course, finding a greater use for an application that has been with us for years is quite complex and, above all, difficult to achieve. In fact, the best way to exemplify it is based on the updates that we have seen on social networks such as Instagram or on the Meta messaging service.

WhatsApp in recent months has been testing a huge number of features that, truthfully, they do not make much sense or do not add much to the user experience. Despite the age of this application, the truth is that it is not yet in a state of maturation like that of Facebook.

Being this social network one of the longest to date and with a huge number of users who use the platform for absolutely everything. In fact, Meta knows this and its new update is designed for those people who use the social network to get information on a day-to-day basis as if it were a newspaper.

Now Facebook will have a new tab on the main home page and it will be dedicated to storing and, logically, displaying the news that has been collected from groups, pages or professional profiles. The name of this tab will be called news and it will learn according to the habits of the users.

The home tab has not disappeared and will continue to be present within the application, but it will focus on the publications that are made on a regular basis or, on the contrary, have more tendencies within the Facebook feed. On the contrary, the news tab will be intended for the most recent items published within Facebook.

In fact, the most interesting thing is that in this new tab Favorites can be placed and, therefore, official information accounts can be marked with which to receive a series of elements every day to stay informed in the most comfortable way within the Meta social network. This update is now available to everyone on their devices.
