Explosion in Tijuana leaves more than 20 people injured

( Spanish) –– Firefighters in Tijuana, Baja California, confirmed an explosion in an apartment building and commercial premises on Tuesday, according to a preliminary report.

Until the issuance of the report, three people were seriously injured, six hospitalized, 15 with minor injuries and two people rescued from the rubble.

Firefighters added that search efforts continue.

Possible causes have not been reported.
