Etxebarri, Bagá and Desde 1911 in the Top 5 of the European list of OAD 2023

Apart from the Top 150, the Ranking of the Best Restaurants in Europe collects 349 restaurants that are not on the main list, but that, according to the guide, are worth a visit. Are Highly Recommended Restaurants (HR, for its acronym in English, Highly Recommended) and Recommended (R, Recommended). Spain is, once again, the country with the most restaurants of both types, with 70 outstandingwhich include, among others, Akelarre (San Sebastián), Coque (Madrid), Abivium (Peñafiel, Valladolid) or Sollo (Fuengirola, Málaga).

Great cooks for a unique dinner

The announcement of the lists and the awards ceremony took place in an emotional act where, in addition to giving the awards, a gala dinner at Since 1911, also open to the public by reservation, at a price of 350 euros per cover with pairing. Everyone wanted to be there, influences moved, but only the fastest got a table.

It was not for less. Opinionated About Dining brought together nine great chefs who made a dinner around Spanish fish and seafood. A banquet, a waste
