ESLAND Awards 2023: where, when, how to see and who are the finalists?

The National Auditorium is ready to celebrate the best Hispanic content creators

We are less than 24 hours away from the ESLAND Awards, the largest ceremony for the Spanish-speaking streaming community, finally starting live from the emblematic National Auditorium in Mexico City.

Since its introduction in 2022 by the Spanish streamer David “TheGrefg” Cánovas, the ESLAND went from being a mere award to becoming a recognition for all those who create content through platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, demonstrating the sudden evolution of the digital entertainment in recent years.

With this, hundreds of streamers and youtubers as well as thousands of fans are already gathered in the Mexican capital, ahead of what will be one of the largest events in the Spanish-speaking community, and in which several are expected to break audience records.

As promised at the end of its 2022 edition, the first stop of the ESLAND in Latin America will be nothing less than the National Auditorium of Mexico, a venue with a capacity for 10,000 people in which the awards gala will be held on Sunday, November 29. January.

However, as with other prestigious ceremonies, this one will have a blue carpet in which the press will be able to interact with the nominees and special guests, who will entertain the afternoon to the delight of the thousands of attendees.

The broadcast of the ESLAND 2023 Awards will begin at around 12:00 PM, Mexico City time. This means that it will start at the following times in other regions:

  • California, United States ― 10:00 AM
  • CDMX, Mexico ― 12:00 PM
  • Lima, Peru ― 1:00 PM
  • New York, United States ― 1:00 PM
  • Bogota, Colombia ― 1:00 PM
  • Santiago de Chile ― 3:00 PM
  • Caracas, Venezuela ― 3:00 PM
  • San Juan, Puerto Rico ― 3:00 PM
  • Buenos Aires, Argentina ― 3:00 PM
  • Madrid, Spain ― 7:00 PM

The blue carpet is expected to last approximately 2 hours, while the main ceremony will last at least 4 hours. Additionally, the entrances to the National Auditorium will be open from noon, so that those who attend will be able to closely follow the entry of their favorite content creators.

As with its first installment, the ESLAND 2023 Awards will be broadcast exclusively through TheGrefg’s official Twitch channel, who will also serve as the official presenter of the evening.

Likewise, the entire ceremony will be available on a delayed basis on the YouTube channel of the famous Spanish streamer, for all those who missed some part of the gala or simply want to relive a memorable moment of it.

After a process in which more than a million votes were collected from the Spanish-speaking community, the finalists for the 2023 edition were revealed a couple of weeks ago, reducing the number of nominees per category to only 4 options.

Among the favourites, we can find big names like Ibai Llanos and Raúl “Auronplay” Álvarez, Spanish streamers who have innovated with their content in recent years, as well as Latin American figures such as Osvaldo “El Mariana” Palacios, Juan Guarnizo, Samantha “Rivers ” Treviño, Ivan “Spreen” Buhajeruk and Quackity, who stand out for their charisma, creativity and their connection with the public.
