Accuses Netanyahu of “fueling anti-Semitism” and endangering the Israeli population “to prolong his political life”
May 22. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, asserted this Wednesday that as long as the Western powers continue to support the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Army will not put an end to the “massacres in Palestine.”
“As long as the Western powers remain firm in their support for Netanyahu, despite his bravado and recklessness, the massacres in Palestine cannot be avoided,” said Erdogan, who has sent a strong message against Israel.
Likewise, the Turkish president has directly accused Netanyahu of “fueling anti-Semitism” with his bloody and prolonged offensive on the Gaza Strip, and has warned that he also endangers the Israeli population “to prolong his political life.”
“If Zionist expansionism continues like this, I say it openly, our world will be brewing new conflicts (…) It is necessary to stop the Israeli administration as soon as possible before more blood is spilled, more children and women die and hope is lost for humanity,” he said.
According to the Turkish president, the Israeli authorities showed “their true intentions” when they ignored the ceasefire proposal approved by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and decided to attack Rafah.
Likewise, Erdogan has accused the Israeli Army of “murdering” more than 35,000 people, including 15,000 children, and turning the Gaza Strip, “which was already an open-air prison due to the blockade,” into a “huge cemetery of children,” collects ‘Hurriyet’.
For all this, the Turkish head of state has indicated that, in his opinion, “Israel has lost this brutal war in the eyes of humanity”, while the Gazan population “has once again written their names in History.”
“With God’s permission, the Palestinian cause will achieve victory with the establishment of a Palestinian State based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. We believe in this with all our hearts,” he stressed.
On October 7, Hamas launched an offensive against Israel that left almost 1,200 dead and 240 hostages, and was the trigger for the bloody Israeli military response against the Gaza Strip, which has already left more than 35,000 dead, mostly women and children.
