The story of Enotria: The Last Song is set in a sunny world that is dominated by the Canovaccio, a perverse and eternal play that keeps everything in a state of unnatural stasis. The players, in the skin of the Being without a Mask, are the only person without an established role who can go freely and choose their destiny. “Defeat the powerful Authors and use the power of Ardore to end the paralysis of the world,” says the game’s synopsis. As a curiosity and because the game represents a world based on the colors of the Italian summer, Jyamma Games calls it “Summer-soul” instead of soulslike.
