Elon Musk proposes to complete the purchase of Twitter at the original price

After a time in which it seemed that Elon Musk was not going to acquire Twitter after his purchase attempt, something that had come to courta new change of opinion hits the industry, hinting that Twitter could finally become the property of Elon Musk.

Twitter has not yet commented on the matter, but Elon Musk has offered to complete the purchase of Twitter at the original price, $54.20 per sharewell above the current $47.93, so seeing that the initial purchase had been accepted, it is possible that this transaction will end up taking place.

This change of opinion is interesting, because remember, Elon Musk has repeatedly tried to withdraw from this purchase offer claiming that the numbers of bots on Twitter were much higher than reported by the company, something that ended in a lawsuit by Twitter, something that would be closed if Musk made the purchase.

Apparently, some emails and other “dirty” messages would be the reason, according to Gizmodofor which Elon Musk would be reconsidering going ahead with the purchase, so this may have a messy ending if the purchase doesn’t go through.
