How to avoid being banned because of hackers in elden ring?

Once the hacker or modder has the banned item, they can be banned or suspended by Bandai Namco Entertainment, but they circumvent the security and manage to access the online mode and thus interact with other innocent players.

The bad thing is not the interaction per se, because for this you cannot punish innocent players. However, hackers then use the banned items as a means to “criminate” innocent players.

The mode of operation is that the hacker carries the prohibited item with him and then drops it for the other players with whom he shares the game to add it to their inventory.

In case you missed it: hints suggest there’s DLC on the way elden ring.

The problem is that if Bandai Namco Entertainment finds out that the innocent player is in possession of this item, it proceeds to ban them. Thus, even though the innocent player did not originally spawn the item and is even unaware that it is against the rules, they are punished as if they were responsible simply for having it in their possession.

The community recommendation, then, is not to pick up items dropped by strangers in online matches, just as people wouldn’t in the real world.

Fans are alerting about prohibited objects in elden ring

Several months ago we told you about how this method worked and how it endangered the players’ games to such a degree that Bandai Namco Entertainment decided to delete their progress completely. Well, history is repeating itself.

Reddit user PeatzzzZ is the perfect example of the innocent player affected by this issue. In a post, the fan reported that during an online PvP match a user dropped the Brave’s Cord Circlet, an item that can be equipped to his character but cannot be obtained in-game.

The community did not take long to warn the player that it is an object that he should not have taken and advised him to get rid of it as soon as possible, because if Bandai Namco Entertainment had it in his possession, he could well delete his account.

Unfortunately, some users claimed that once the player picks up the item, he is logged in and flagged by the system, so he can’t do anything anymore even if he tries to delete the item.
