They have filtered out a large number of Gigabyte motherboards with the upcoming Intel Z890 chipset for Arrow Lake-S, which are expected to be the “Intel Core Ultra 200”. The socket of these boards will be the Intel LGA 1851, which debuts in this new line.
They are a total of 8 plates, of which there are three models with the name “AI TOP” that reveals some type of improvement or optimization for Artificial Intelligence tasks or on the NPU of the Arrow Lake-S processors. However, it could also simply be a marketing strategy without further ado (we have already seen that there is a “thermal paste with AI”, so we are scared to death at this point).
These variants are added to the AORUS XTREME and AORUS MASTER models, which are also available without the AI TOP tag, so it seems that some notable difference should exist at least.
The filtered models are the following: GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS ylto GIGABYTE Z890 A ELITE
Hopefully we will know more details and its official presentation at Computex 2024 in Taipei during the first week of June.
