This Saturday, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry condemned the latest attacks by the Israeli Army against several areas in the center of the Gaza Strip, mainly the Nuseirat refugee camp, the scene of an Israeli military operation that resulted in the rescue of lives of four hostages in the hands of Palestinian militias.

“Egypt holds Israel legally and morally responsible for this blatant attack, and demands that Israel fulfill its obligations as an occupying power and stop indiscriminately attacking Palestinian civilians, including those in areas where they have been displaced,” it said in a statement.

The Ministry has indicated that these attacks are a “flagrant violation of all the provisions of International Law”, as well as “of all the values of humanity.” Likewise, he has called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to intervene in order to stop the conflict.

This comes after 210 people have died and more than 400 have been injured by a new Israeli attack launched against several areas of central Gaza, mainly Nuseirat, the scene of an Army operation that has resulted in the rescue of four hostages held by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
