Urban Land Institute (ULI) has awarded the first edition of its Iberia Proptech Innovation Challenge award to EFFIC, as a platform for the efficient rehabilitation of homes and buildings in Spain and Portugal. ULI has highlighted the rehabilitation agent of Aliseda Inmobiliaria and Anticipa Real Estate for its short and medium-term impact on the decarbonization of the residential real estate sector, EFFIC reports this Friday in a statement. EFFIC will represent Spain and Portugal in the final phase of this competition, which will be held in October in Copenhagen (Denmark), together with the winners from other European countries.
Next Generation Funds
The CEO of Aliseda and Anticipa, Eduard Mendiluce, explained that they promoted the platform for “improving the energy efficiency of the building stock, through European Next Generation funds”.
It was created in 2022 to encourage communities of owners and individuals to achieve energy efficiency objectives: it carries out the energy study of the property, facilitates the financing of the ineligible part of the work, carries out the reform, and handles the processing of European aid and the energy certificate for the client.
Among the actions of EFFIC are the reforms of the façade, roof, improvement of the insulation of buildings and change of windows, installation of aerothermal and geothermal systems, replacement of boilers and elevators, installation of energy cost allocators and led lighting and works to improve accessibility.
