Twitter Blue users will be able to edit their tweets from this September, a function that will be globalized after a while.
We already knew that Twitter was planning a function to edit the messages that are published. This is a function that will only be available at first for paying users, belonging to the Twitter Blue subscription. Today we see that this function It is enabled from this month and it will be extended to the whole world some time later once it has been tested in a somewhat controlled environment.
For edit a tweet it will be necessary that they have not passed 30 minutes from its publicationmore than enough time to change some spelling errors or add some tags, as indicated by the company. Also, there will be a limited number of edits per tweet so that the published information is not constantly changing. An interesting addition is that all users will be able to see the history of edits of a tweet, so there will be no misunderstandings -or there shouldn’t be, but this is Twitter- when reading the timeline. Each user will be able to see how many times it has been edited and what has changed from one edition to another.
We will see how long it takes to implement it globally to all users of the social network.

At the age of 15 I started overclocking my PC to squeeze out every extra FPS I could in games and scratch a few milliseconds in SuperPi, while posting tirelessly about hardware on the Geeknetic forum as a user and reader. Surely they were so tired of continually reading me in the forum that I became part of the editorial team, in which I continue to report on the latest technology. Astrophysics and PC gaming are the hobbies that, after hardware, cover most of my free time.
