EA SPORTS FC 25 Coming September 27 With New Social Experiences and Women's Football in Career Mode

July 17 (Portaltic/EP) –

Electronic Arts has officially announced EA SPORTS FC 25, a new chapter in the football game coming September 27 with new features such as a five-on-five social experience and the introduction of women’s football in Career Mode.

The new instalment aims to offer “the most social and authentic experience to date” and to do so offers new features, led by Rush and FC IQ. The first of these is a new 5v5 experience that will be available in Football Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick-Off.

As a fast-paced, single-player experience in Manager Career Mode, Rush will allow you to control the development of your Youth Academy throughout the season with new 5v5 playable tournaments, as reported by EA in a press release.

FC IQ, meanwhile, ushers in a revamp of the tactical foundations of each 11v11 match by offering greater strategic control, while a new artificial intelligence model, powered by real data from some of the best football teams, influences player tactics through new ‘Player Roles’.

Career Mode introduces women’s football for the first time, and ‘Live Start Points’ put players at the heart of real-life football’s biggest stories as they happen, allowing them to take control of a club following mid-season transfers or managerial changes.

EA SPORTS FC 25 will be available to play on September 27 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, with early access on September 20 via the Ultimate Edition.
