E3 2023 will feature an in-person event in Los Angeles after three years of cancellations due to COVID-19

The 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions of the E3 it had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic and the harsh restrictions imposed by the state of Los Angeles for the organization of face-to-face events.

This year, the developer companies chose to have their own digital conferences on their social networks. They shared the most anticipated video games for the following months, such as Overwatch 2, Scorn, Minecraft Legends, Diablo IV, among others.

As expected, the world is returning to normal after several years of confinement and the video game conventions will also do so in 2023. The Entertainment Software Association announced that by 2023 they will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“We’re thrilled to bring back E3 as an in-person event with ReedPop, a world leader in the production of pop culture events. The last three years have confirmed that E3 convenes our industry like no other event”, detailed Stanley Pierre-Louis, president and executive director of the ESA.

In the 2023 event, it has been cataloged by the same company as a “week of titanic AAA reveals, shocking world premieres and exclusive access to the future of video games”.

For now, there is no official date for E3 2023, but they have promised that in the following months they will share information about schedules, exhibitors and many more details.
