E-commerce grows in Mexico thanks to Hot Sale

These data, according to AMVO, have changed towards a positive trend, since eight out of 10 buyers felt safe making their purchases during the week of offers.

In addition, the Federal Consumer Attorney’s Office (Profeco) reported that in the nine days of campaign offers, only 12 claims were filed among the millions of purchase orders that were registered.

These figures show the potential of e-commerce in Mexico, which is used in seasons like this because it represents opportunities to acquire discounts, as well as time-saving advantages, immediacy, and personalized attention.

The most purchased categories during the campaign continue to be Fashion, Electronics, Beauty and Personal Care. There was also a positive trend in the acquisition of the Consoles and Videogames category, while there was a negative trend for Furniture and Home purchases.

Based on these data, the study revealed that eight out of 10 companies are loyal to the campaign, that is, they will continue to participate in the following editions, as it represents an opportunity to grow their businesses.
