Techland is ready to change the game with its latest “Good Night, Good Luck” update for Dying Light 2 Stay Humansignificantly improving the gaming experience with drastic changes to the parkour systems and a total overhaul of nightly gameplay.
The cycle of day and night has always been a fundamental piece in Dying Light. However, Techland has taken this a step further, emphasizing the horror experience at nightfall. Players will be forced to rely more on their flashlight as visibility is greatly diminished. Night sounds are now more spooky, with audio effects that take center stage in the dark. And as for the infected, they will lurk around every corner, even on rooftops, making no place truly safe after sunset.
A new era of parkour in Dying Light 2 Stay Human
The parkour experience has been taken to another level, not only by making the chase sequences more immersive, but also by making significant improvements to the controls. New features include additional animations, increased control in the air, and the ability to maintain momentum. For players who want an even greater challenge, Techland introduces a new style of parkour designed to test your skills.
Techland has established a collaboration with mod.io to allow players to access community-created maps directly from within the game, eliminating the need to download additional software. This feature is currently only available on PC, though it is expected to come to consoles and Steam Deck later in the year.
Graphical improvements in ultra mode for PC and a new color calibration option called “Harran Sunset” add to the news of the update. In addition, there have been changes to the user interface, new customization options, and the ability to throw weapons and retrieve them later.
