16 Jul. (Portaltic/EP) –

Dulceida, Verdeliss, Cristinini, Ibai Llanos, YoSoyPlex and Paula Gonu are just some of the 47 ‘influencers’ that already appear in the State Registry of Audiovisual Communication Service Providersin which all influential people who meet the requirements established by the Audiovisual Communication Law must register.

An ‘influencer’ is a person with the ability to influence others, mainly through social networks and platforms such as TikTok or Twitch, and who has the necessary skills to generate interest in an audience by publishing their content.

In Spain, an ‘influencer’ is considered to be someone who has an income of 300,000 euros gross or more per year – generally from sponsored content -, has at least one million followers on a single platform and publishes content (mainly video) at least 24 times a year. This is equivalent to uploading two videos per month.

This is indicated by Royal Decree 444/2024, of April 30, which determines the requirements for being considered a particularly relevant user of video sharing services through platforms.

In order to regulate the activity of these people, the law was approved two years ago General Law on Audiovisual Communication (Law 13/2022), which came into force in May and establishes that content creators and ‘influencers’ who meet these requirements must register in the State Registry of providers of audiovisual communication services, providers of video sharing services through a platform and providers of the audiovisual communication service aggregation service.

This registry, provided for in article 39 of the General Law on Audiovisual Communication, gives ‘influencers’ a period of two months to register from May 2, 2024. This means that those considered ‘influencers’ would already have to be part of it, as also recalled on the website of Moncloa.

As can be seen in this, of public access, at the time of writing this news there are 47 ‘influencers’ registered with the name of ‘Users of Special Relevance who use video exchange services through the platform’ (UER). Among them, there are Dulceida, Adri Contreras, Angela Marmol, Alexelcapo, YOSOYPLEXGala González, Lyna, Verdeliss and Cristinini.

Other names that are part of this list are Ibai Llanos, Nachter, IlloJuan, Iker Unzu, Javier Santaolalla, Jordi Wild, El Xokas, Xuso Jones, María Pombo, Laura Escanes, Lola Lolita, Rocio Osorno, Nil OjedaMery Turiel, Paula Echevarria and Nuria Roca.

In alphabetical order, the list of the Government of Spain of the so-called ‘Users of special relevance’ concludes with Paula Gonu, El Rubius, Sergio Peinado, Sofia Surfers, Tamara Gorro, Tamara Falcó, Team Heretics, modajustcoco, Violeta Mangriñán, xBuyer and MiniBuyer.

It is worth remembering that this registry does not only include ‘influencers’, but also those video sharing service providers via platform (VSP), such as CentroWebs, OleCams and Tokyvideo, or aggregators (Digi, Embou, Rakuten TV, PepePhone and Orange, among others). Also part of this relationship are those considered communication service providers audiovisual (SCA), such as Filmin, Kiss FM, Atresmedia, Trece TV, RTVE, DAZN and Mediaset.
