The anime and manga of dragonball It continues to give people something to talk about with its video games, action figures and other viral products. We are witnessing one of the most popular Japanese franchises and the fever cannot stop. While the anime is on hiatus, video game developers are fully engaged in a new project for next-generation consoles.

As for video games, Bandai Namco recently closed the Dragon Ball FighterZ world tournament and took the opportunity to announce the return of one of the most popular franchises: Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4.

The game will go on sale sometime in 2024 for the PS5, Xbox Series X and PC consoles. At the moment, the developer company keeps several details of the content in reserve, it has only shared the first official teaser trailer on all social networks.

It is not yet known if a version for the Nintendo Switch console will be developed. If this is the case, gamers will have to wait a few more months compared to the other consoles.

As for the new content, in the trailer you can see images of the first Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi, while when we jump to the next-gen version, Goku appears transforming into his Super Saiyan Blue version.

This hints that a lot of content from the current anime and manga will be adapted for the game’s plot. Golden Freeza, Bills, Whis, Goku Black, Caulifla, Kale, Jiren are some of the fighters who would join the project. We would also see others from the different movies.

Toei Animation has introduced a new version of Broly in the 2018 film and a powerful gigantic Cell in the 2022 production. As expected, Bandai Namco will have to give time for the development and production of advances, only then will we know more title content.
