The price of the dollar in Colombia cut the losses with which it had begun the day this Monday and adds a slight gain at the start of the week.

According to the Stock Exchange, The US currency is quoted at an average price of $3,766, that is, it rises 2 pesos compared to the Representative Market Rate (TRM) which is $3,764.
The foreign currency lost more than 30 pesos at the start of the session, but recovered. Its minimum price reached $3,736.

At the end of last week, the dollar in Colombia registered a fall of $57.82 so far this year, that is, a revaluation of 1.22% against the Colombian peso.
The delay in the start of the lowering of interest rates in the United States by the central bank of the Federal Reserve (Fed), the high prices of oil and gold (which among other things benefit Colombia), just to mention two key commodities, as well as a lower dynamic in the country that is expressed in lower imports that demand less foreign currency, are part of the cocktail of causes why the US currency registers this strong devaluation.
