Dollar collapses this Friday and trades below $4,800

The dollar in Colombia traded again above 4,900 pesos

The dollar in Colombia falls sharply and after having exceeded the level of $4,800 for three consecutive days, the foreign currency is once again below this barrier in this Friday’s session.

According to the Stock Market, the US currency is quoted at an average price of $4,779, that is, it loses 76 pesos against the TRM of the day, which is $4,855.

Both its maximum and minimum prices are below $4,800 ($4,793 and $4,767).

The US currency registers heavy losses on the last business day of the week, after the upward pressure it registered against the Colombian peso in previous sessions that led the local currency to be one of the most undervalued emerging currencies in the market.
