DLSS 3.0 crashes where it's needed most, shows major graphical bugs at 60 FPS

With the lifting of the review embargoes of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090we are able to see the great performance that we find in these new cards, but we have also been able to see, courtesy of Hardware Unboxed, some peculiarities of DLSS 3.0 frame generation.

This is a technology that has been highly anticipated, especially in the case of those titles that are so graphically demanding, especially at extremely high resolutions, that even with all the tricks that we can find in these graphics cards we might not be able to reach 60 FPS.

However, as we can see in the video on these lines, using frame generation to achieve this goal results in graphical glitches similar to a crashed graphics card or a game with rendering problems, while, in certain situations, no matter the frame rate, we will see issues with some moving UI elements.

Abrupt image changes, such as a change of camera, will also result in the generation of a single completely unusable frame, so definitely it is not a tool that will allow us to play in 4K Ultra settings at 60 FPS when a hypothetical RTX 4060 arrives on the marketat least not without graphical glitches.
