Adelante Andalucía will present itself to the general elections and will not be integrated into Sumar because it is “an autonomous formation”
Adelante Andalucía has advanced that it will appear in the next general elections and does not contemplate joining Sumar. “No one questions that ERC, the CUP or BNG present themselves together with Sumar”, has sentenced the regional deputy and spokesperson, Teresa Rodríguez, who has added that they are an “autonomous” force of “Andalusian obedience” that aspires to give “own voice ” to Andalusia.
This has been indicated to the media together with former senator Pilar González, after presenting in Madrid a series of amendments that Compromís, BNG and the CUP will defend to increase the investment in the General Budgets for Andalusia by 800 million.
The two have explained that this proposal is the “prelude” for Andalusia to present itself to the next elections, have a presence in the General Courts and, if possible, become the “key” for a future progressive central government.

The PNV manages to approve an amendment to the Sports Law that recognizes the officiality of the Basque baseball and surfing teams
The president of the EBB of the PNV, Andoni Ortuzar, has expressed his happiness for the approval in Congress of an amendment of his formation to the Sports Law, which allows, for the first time, the direct participation of regional sports federations in international competitions. “Today we can say that Basque sport has taken a giant first step, a very symbolic and very important step towards making the Basque sports teams official”, he celebrated.
In an emergency appearance at the PNV headquarters in Bilbao, Ortuzar stated that “at the moment, there are two federations that see the path of the officialdom completely cleared, the one for baseball and the one for surfing.”
According to the Jeltzale leader, “there is a popular outcry” in favor of making the Basque national teams official. “In response to this clamor, our federations have been working and fighting for this claim for years, on the street and in offices. The political parties have repeatedly urged us to lend them a hand in the political sphere, and that is what we have been doing for years at the PNV: defend and promote this majority demand of the citizens of Euskadi and our athletes”, has reported.
This amendment incorporates into the Sports Law one of the twelve commitments included in the investiture agreement that Pedro Sánchez and Andoni Ortuzar signed on December 30, 2019, and which stated in Point 11 “Open channels to promote the international representation of Euskadi in sports and culture.

The PP rejects raising taxes on the highest incomes: “It is not the solution to the problems”
The Deputy Secretary of Economy of the PP, Juan Bravo, has assured that in his party they do not believe that taxes should be raised as a solution to all taxes. He has said it in an interview on the program Las Mañanas de rne, asked about what the PP would do with the taxation of the highest incomes. “In the Constitution it says that the tax system must be progressive and that is what we have in Spain”, he has expressed.
On whether or not Feijóo’s PP assumes Casado’s electoral commitment in fiscal matters and the question of whether they think that the fiscal effort of high incomes should be lowered, Bravo recalled that “the line” of the PP “is the one that Feijóo delivered to Sánchez” in the document “deflation of the rate helping medium and low incomes, lowering of VAT, reduction of political and superfluous spending”…, he has listed. “I think that the approach of the PP has nothing to do with that of Truss”, he has claimed.
