dale!, Grupo Aval’s digital wallet, reaffirms its commitment to environmental sustainability and financial inclusion through a day of mangrove reforestation in the Ciénaga de la Virgen, Bolívar. This activity, developed together with the Bank of Bogotá and Saving the Amazon, included the banking and financial training of local fishermen, strengthening the economy and access to financial services in the community.

The CEO of dale!, José Manuel Ayerbe, highlighted the relevance of this action as a reflection of the digital wallet’s mission: “at dale!, we believe that sustainability is not only a matter of preserving the environment, but also of empowering people so that they have access to financial services that improve their quality of life. This day in the Ciénaga de la Virgen, where we work with more than 30 fishermen and more than 100 people will benefit, ratifies our conviction with the conservation of the environment and the inclusive economic development of all communities.”
In parallel to this activity, The wallet developed a volunteer planting day in the municipality of Gachancipá, where 80 native trees were planted as part of a reforestation project together with the indigenous communities of Guainía, who will plant another 240 trees in collaboration with Saving the Amazon.
The species, such as juco garrocho, aliso, ciro and hayuelo, were selected for their ecological value for the soil of Cundinamarca and their long-term restoration capacity.
With these initiatives, go ahead! consolidates its support for environmental conservation, in addition to creating development opportunities for all Colombians through banking, training and access to the financial system, especially for historically remote communities such as the fishermen of the Ciénaga de la Virgen and the indigenous people of Guainía.
Since last July, in the dale application! Customers also find the option to donate to Saving the Amazon thereby facilitating contributions to social causes that generate progress and well-being in disadvantaged areas and populations.
