“Our goal is to release new Diablo Immortal content every two weeks in the form of a mini-update or major update,” explains the Diablo Immortal team. “With mini-updates, you can expect new content like battle pass seasons, in-game events, feature updates, and more. With major updates, you can expect content like new gameplay features, free story expansions, in-game events, and more.”
The company adds that “all the content mentioned above is not exclusive to each type of content update and, on occasion, it may be available as soon as it has reached a level of quality worthy of our players.”
Regarding the new battle pass, it has 40 ranks of challenges and rewards, such as crests, aces, legendary gems and more. Two paid versions will be available to enthusiasts: the Boosted Battle Pass and the Boosted Collector’s Battle Pass. The former includes all of the free standard and additional rewards at each rank as well as cosmetic items, while the latter adds the Aspect of Justice avatar frame, portal cosmetic, and ten free ranks. The Season 3 Battle Pass will be active until September 1.
On the other hand, Blizzard has announced the activation of two events in Diablo Immortal. At 12:00 CEST (server time) each day, players will be able to rally to repel the Iranate invasion. If the Iranates are unsuccessful in conquering the area they are attacking, Gorgothra will appear to try and send a powered-up replica of her own to wipe out all resistance. We also have a temporary event called Hungry Moon where you can earn moonshards for boons. This event will be active from August 12 to 15.
