The LATAM group and Delta Air Lines announced on Friday that they will incorporate five new routes starting in October that will fly between the United States and Colombia, within the framework of an alliance between the airlines.
Latam Colombia will launch on October 29 a new daily non-stop service between MedellĂn and Miami with 180-passenger aircraft. That same day, Latam Peru will start a frequency of three flights per week between Lima and Atlanta.
Delta also announced that it will “relaunch” the service between Atlanta and Cartagena de Indias from December 22, with a frequency of three flights per week.
Likewise, a second daily flight between Atlanta and Bogotá will begin operating on October 28, the alliance added in a statement.
“The mission of the trade agreement between Delta and the LATAM group is to make travel between our North and South American markets easier and more enjoyable, bringing the continents closer than ever before,” said Alex Antilla, Delta’s vice president for the Americas. Latina.
All routes can be booked on the official websites of the airlines from June 17.
The airline partnership, which took place in October 2022, has increased seat capacity by 75% on flights between North and South America, according to the statement.
