The executive vice president and Minister of Petroleum of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, has made a working visit to Algeria, a country with which she aspires to increase strategic collaboration at all levels.
During the trip, Rodríguez met with the Minister of Energy and Mining of Algeria, Mohamed Arkab, to deepen the strategic energy cooperation route agreed between both countries.
In addition, he addressed common topics related to the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the work carried out by the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries (FPEG) with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations between Venezuela and Algeria in the oil and gas sectors. .

Algeria and Venezuela agreed in 2022 on a new stage in their diplomatic, political, economic and commercial relations in the context of the relaunch of the High-Level Mixed Commission, with more than 38 cooperation agreements in areas of mutual interest.
