The toll of victims due to the attack carried out on Tuesday by the Russian Army against the surroundings of a clinic located in the Ukrainian town of Vozesenivski, in the province of Zaporizhia (east), has increased to six dead and more than 20 injured. as confirmed this Wednesday by the authorities.
The governor of Zaporizhzhia, Ivan Fedorov, has stated through a message published on his Telegram account that the “enemy shelling” has already left six dead and 22 injured and has confirmed that during the last hours two women have been rescued alive, now hospitalized.
Likewise, he has announced a day of mourning in the province in memory of the fatal victims and has conveyed his “sincere condolences” to the family and friends of the deceased. “Russia must answer for every Ukrainian life taken and mutilated. We will not forgive,” he concluded.
The attack was condemned on Tuesday by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who stressed that rescue teams “are doing everything possible” to rescue alive the victims who remain under the rubble. In addition, he again asked kyiv’s partners to continue supplying weapons and air defense systems.
