July 14 () –

The balance of deaths due to an attack by Russian forces against the Ukrainian city of Vinitsia, located in the center of the country, has risen to 20, including three children, according to the deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Kirill Tymoshenko.

“So far, 20 people are known to have died from the rocket attack on the city, including three children,” he said in a message on his Telegram account, before adding that at least 90 people have been injured.

He also stated that “the Russians have hit the center of Vinitsia with ‘Kalibr’ cruise missiles launched from a submarine in the Black Sea”, without Moscow having commented on what happened for now. “The rescue operations are still active,” Timoshenko has settled, who shortly before had indicated that “it is another crime by the occupiers against the peaceful city.”

According to information collected by the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, the projectiles have hit an office building, which has been completely destroyed, while several residential buildings located in the surroundings have suffered material damage.
