The death of a pregnant woman has raised to three the number of victims from the attacks launched this Saturday morning by Ukrainian forces on the Russian region of Belgorod, according to the governor, Viacheslav Gladkov, who has also confirmed several civilians injured.
The first two victims, a woman who had a broken femur and the man who was caring for her, died in the fire of a house hit by one of the devices fired, in the town of Poroz. Hours later, the authorities reported another attack in the town of Novaya Tavolzhanka, also with civilian victims.
In this second incident, a pregnant woman was evacuated to the hospital with serious injuries, but ended up dying. The doctors could not save the fetus either, the governor explained on his Telegram account, without clarifying how many months she was pregnant.
In addition, three people were injured in this area, while twelve residential buildings and two vehicles have suffered some type of damage. Gladkov has reported a wide deployment of emergency services.
