Gazan authorities accuse Israeli forces of carrying out “three massacres” in the enclave during the last 24 hours

The authorities of the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have estimated this Friday at more than 43,500 deaths due to the military offensive unleashed by Israel against the enclave after the attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 by the Islamist group and other Palestinian factions, including nearly 40 over the past 24 hours.
The Gaza Ministry of Health has pointed out in a statement published on its Telegram account that “the toll of Israeli aggression has increased to 43,508 martyrs and 102,684 wounded since October 7, 2023”, before accusing Israeli troops of perpetrating “three massacres” during the last day, with a balance of 39 dead and 123 injured arriving at the hospitals that remain operational in the Strip.
Likewise, he has emphasized that “there are still victims among the rubble and lying in the streets, without ambulances and Civil Defense teams being able to reach them”, so it is suspected that the number of victims would be much higher. . Gazan authorities have stated on several occasions that at least 10,000 people are listed as missing.
The offensive against Gaza was launched after the aforementioned attacks on October 7, 2023, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities. Added to these tolls are more than 750 Palestinians killed at the hands of Israeli security forces and in attacks perpetrated by settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
