After multiple leaks, Valve recognized the existence of Deadlocktheir new multiplayer title that is in an early stage of development and which, for now, can only be accessed by invitation.
There are fans of the company who are excited about this new competitive proposal; however, there are players who have already tried it and are worried for a simple reason: the game has not yet debuted and already has its first cheaters.
Of course, this creates uncertainty throughout the community. There are those who fear the worst for the new title, as they remembered the ways cheaters ruined their experience in other Valve games, such as Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike.
Find out: This multiplayer game hasn’t even debuted yet, but it’s already in the top 10 of Steam’s most played titles with more than 120,000 users online.
Deadlock has cheaters in its testing phases
Videos circulating on social media and forums show the first cheaters of Deadlock. Most of them use unauthorized tools to have an infallible aimwhich gives them an overwhelming advantage during games.
This has many players baffled, wondering why anyone would resort to aim bots in a game that is still in the testing phase and has not yet debuted. So Valve fans were disappointed with part of the community.
Players recalled how cheaters have affected Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strikeso they expect Valve to do something about it for the public release of DeadlockOther players are concerned that the company may not be able to control this problem in the future.
In its testing phase, Deadlock has had up to 120,000 users connectedso the community believes that it will be a resounding success and hopes that cheaters do not become a plague. Some players have even already attacked users who use advantages that are not allowed in the title.
“What a sad existence you have to lead to cheat in a public alpha test. Right now there’s nothing even at stake, no leaderboards, no ranks, etc.,” said one clearly disappointed player.
