Cybersecurity Seminar in Latin America and the Caribbean

Cybersecurity and the increase in incidents that affect cybersecurity have worsened in recent years in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, as reflected in the Regional Digital Agenda for Latin America and the Caribbean (eLAC2024) and has been the subject of study in a recent report prepared by ECLAC (2023), which identifies some of the main cyber incidents that have taken place in the region in recent years.

The design and implementation of innovative normative/regulatory frameworks, as well as regulatory sandboxes, are essential not only to contribute to the protection of people’s rights, but also to generate better market conditions and greater economic growth.

The objective of the seminar is to know the actions that are being adopted in terms of cybersecurity at a global and regional level, and to discuss the main challenges that Chile faces in terms of cybersecurity, in order to move towards the definition of an analytical framework on the matter, which it will be an integral part of your Digital Transformation Strategy.
