Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty increases its minimum requirements and will not support HDD

The great expansion of the controversial Cyberpunk 2077, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, will hit the market on September 26 and will do so only on PC and next-generation consoles, since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One do not have the necessary hardware to be able to move it with acceptable frame rates per second. If we remember, CyberPunk 2077 already had problems working on PlayStation 4, and this new expansion will improve graphically and increase its requirements.

In fact, the game developers have announced the Minimum, Recommended and Ultra requirements for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty on PC.

The minimum requirements to play at 1080p with low quality and at 30 FPS speak of an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or an Intel Core i7-6700 with 12 GB of RAM, graphics like the Radeon RX 580, the GeForce GTX 1060 or the Intel Arc A380 . It draws attention that mechanical hard drives are no longer supported, and the minimum will be a 70 GB SATA SSD.

If we increase the resolution to 4K with Ultra detail at 60 FPS, we are already required a Ryzen 9 7900X or a Core i9-12900 with 20 GB of RAM, an RTX 3080 or an RX 7900 XTX and 70 GB of NVMe SSD.

If we want to use Raytracing, the requirements increase considerably, in the case of “Overdrive” quality cpn DLSS 3 we will need an RTX 4080.
