Launched last year 2021, the Corsair MP600 PRO They were one of the fastest models of the brand, reaching 7,000 MB/s thanks to the use of NVMe 1.4 with PCI Express Gen 4 in M.2 format and 3D TLC NAND memories.
Now, the company has launched a new variant called Corsair MP600 PRO NH that double the capacity of the top-of-the-range model up to 8 TB. This variant of the 8TB MP600 PRO NH has a really high price that goes up to €1,395an amount far from many budgets of people “on foot”.
Its technical specifications tell us of a speed of up to 7,000 MB/s of reading and 6,100 MB/s of writing, both sequential. As for random access, we have 1.2 million write IOPS and 950,000 read IOPS.
Interestingly, since it’s usually the higher capacity models that are the fastest, the 4TB model bumps sequential write speeds up to 6,500MB/s and random read speeds up to 1 million IOPS. The 2TB, 1TB, and 500GB models drop their specs below these figures.
For example, the 500 GB model offers 6,600 MB/s sequential read and 3,600 MB/s sequential write. Read random access is 450,000 IOPS and write 880,000 IOPS.
