Contributory pensions will rise by 8.5% in 2023 based on the formula contemplated in the pension reform and in which the CPI is taken into account to avoid losses in purchasing power.
Specifically, this 8.5% increase is the result of the CPI average between December 2021 and November 2022. Passive class pensions will also rise by 8.5% in the new year.
For their part, the beneficiaries of non-contributory pensions will maintain during 2023 the 15% increase that was applied to them since last July.
Likewise, the salary of civil servants will increase up to 3.5% and the Public Indicator of Income with Multiple Effects (Iprem), a reference for the granting of scholarships, aid, unemployment benefits and subsidies, will increase by 3.6%, up to 600 euros per month.
MINIMUM CONTRIBUTIVE PENSIONS: BETWEEN 18 AND 113 EUROS MORE PER MONTH
With the 8.5% increase contemplated for 2023, the minimum contributory pensions will increase approximately between 18 and 113 euros per month, depending on the type of pension and personal circumstances.
Specifically, the amount of the minimum pension for 65-year-old retirees with a dependent spouse will remain at 966.19 euros per month in 14 payments (compared to the current 890.5 euros per month); that of without a spouse (unipersonal economic unit) at 783 euros (currently 721.7 euros), and that of a non-dependent spouse at 743.2 euros per month (compared to the current 685 euros).
For retirees under 65 years of age, the minimum pension with a dependent spouse is set for 2023 at 905.8 euros per month (currently 834.9 euros); without a spouse at 732.6 euros per month (675.2 euros now), and with a non-dependent spouse at 692.4 euros per month (638.2 euros currently).
For its part, the maximum retirement pension will be from January 1 at 3,858.8 euros per month for fourteen payments, compared to 2,819.2 euros per month this year.
The minimum widowhood pensions will rise between 46 and 71 euros per month, depending on the circumstances. Specifically, the minimum widow’s pension for holders with family responsibilities will be 905.8 euros per month, in contrast to the current 834.9 euros per month.
In the case of being over 65 or having a disability greater than or equal to 65%, the minimum widow’s pension will be 783 euros per month, which is 61.3 euros more than now.
If the holder of the widow’s pension is between 60 and 64 years old, the amount with the new year will be 732.6 euros per month (675.2 euros currently), while in the case of beneficiaries under 60 years of age the benefit it will be 593.2 euros per month (546.8 euros this year).
For its part, the minimum contributory pension for severe disability will rise from January 1 to 1,449.3 euros per month (currently 1,335.8 euros) if you have a dependent spouse, and will rise to 1,174.6 euros if you do not have one. charge to the spouse (unipersonal economic unit), in contrast to the current 1,082.6 euros per month.
The minimum pension for absolute or total disability of holders aged 65 with a dependent spouse will be 966.2 euros per month next year, in contrast to the current 890.5 euros, while that of those who do not have a dependent spouse (one-person economic unit) will be 783 euros per month (currently 721.7 euros).
In the case of orphan’s pensions, the minimum amount will rise from next Sunday to 239.4 euros per month per beneficiary (now it is 220.7 euros), while if the beneficiary is under 18 years of age and has a greater disability or equal to 65%, the amount will be 470.9 euros per month, 36.9 euros more than in 2022.
The minimum pension in favor of relatives will be placed with the new year at 239.4 euros per month, compared to the current 220.7 euros.
