Cyberpunk 2077 hit the market in December 2020 with a premiere marked by the numerous bugs reported by players in the versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Regardless of how good it arrived, the game could have had more content than it offers, but there are reasons why some content was dropped, as Cyberpunk 2077 quest designer Pawel Sasko explained in a post. direct on Twitch.

“When things are lacking and the quality is not there, sometimes you just look at the idea and [compruebas que] the potential of the idea is not there”, commented Sasko, who pointed out that it is something that he always tries to explain to the players and the press, since “when you are creating a game, your responsibility as a designer is to make all those decisions about what is really interesting for your game”.

For this reason, above all, Sasko has made it clear that “discarded content is not used for a reason”. Although it is about “nine out of ten missions, locations or gameplay features”.
