The analysis concluded that at least 11% of the 3.4 million selected passwords use the combination ‘1234’. The report also highlights that one in four credit card passwords could be guessed by trying 20 different combinations.
Among the other passwords with the highest exposure are: ‘1111’, ‘0000’, ‘1212’, ‘7777’, ‘1004’, ‘2000’, ‘4444’, ‘2222’, ‘6969’, ‘9999’, ‘3333’, ‘1122’ and ‘4321 ‘.
It is also common for users to use important dates when selecting their PIN, so you mix as ‘2001’, ‘1986’ and ‘1989’ They are part of the ranking.

The report advises not to use the repeated combinations of numbers, since the probability of deciphering them increases significantly.
