Colombian University was first in 21 areas of the QS World University Ranking 2025

The Colombian education It has been having notable improvements, which represents a great advance for this sector in the country, since, thanks to various efforts in several areas many professionals are being better prepared for the labor market today.

Proof of this are the awards they receive globally. According to the latest report of the QS World University Rankings by Subject, the University of Los Andes position 10 of its specific academic areas Among the 100 best in the world 2025.

This ranks is made by the renowned Firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), which specializes in the annual publication of university classifications globally.

This delivery presents the classification in five general thematic areas, of which three are led by the Andes:

• Arts and humanities.

• Engineering and Technology.

• Social and administrative sciences.

How were the Colombian?

The areas contain 55 specific fields, where Uniandes stands out in 34 that were included among the 500 best, 18 of them occupying the first place nationwide.

In the top 50 Law (44) and Development Studies (43) was located (43). The University has 10 specific topics in the top 100 worldwide: art and design, modern languages, oil engineering, geography, anthropology, business, development, law, marketing and politics studies.

The Andes in General Academic Areas
