The death toll from the stampede that occurred during the Halloween celebrations in the Itaewon district of Seoul rises to 154 dead and 149 wounded. Among the dead are citizens of several countries. Dozens of people turned out to pay their respects to the victims near the crash site. Several citizens blame the authorities for the few controls.

Various sources confirmed that in one year, 172 civilians were killed in the Panjshir region, where the resistance against the Taliban regime is concentrated. The island of Mindanao is less frequently affected by extreme events, but they tend to be more deadly. In its advance, Nalgae flooded villages, destroyed crops and cut off electricity supplies in many regions of the country.

China re-imposed measures against Covid in Macau, including the closure of the well-known MGM Cotai casino, after several new cases of coronavirus were detected over the weekend. Despite this, travel restrictions to the former Portuguese colony have been lifted: from tomorrow it will be possible to travel there from mainland China with an electronic visa.
