The Department of Social Prosperity (DPS) announced that on July 25, payments will be launched for the Citizen Income and VAT Refund.

According to the DPS schedule, the following will be executed: six payment cycles in four moments for the remainder of the year. Disbursements for this period will run until August 14 and will include the delivery of $409 billion to more than 2 million households.

How to know if you have a twist
Members of these programs will receive a text message indicating the payment method. The bank has also provided a link to verify the availability of the disbursement.

Banco Agrario also reported that beneficiaries will be able to receive their transfer through offices, bank correspondents (Supergiros, Efecty, Reval, Payment Point, ePago and SuRed)Movii, the Bico electronic wallet and the ATMs of the Servibanca network.

How to withdraw the disbursement
For households with bank accounts, payment will be made by crediting a savings account or the Bico digital wallet and can be withdrawn from ATMs in the Servibanca partner network. For those without bank accounts, they can receive it at the counter in the offices or banking correspondents by presenting their identity document.
Now, the entity has clarified that “If you have a bank account, you can collect the transfer wherever and whenever you want, but if you do not have a bank account and must make the withdrawal through a money order, you can only collect it at the place registered in the Sisbén IV survey or at the place of registration if you belong to the indigenous population. There are no transfers.”

Steps to find out if you are a beneficiary
For both Citizen Income and VAT Refund you must enter the official website of each program. Once there, follow these steps:
1. Click on the button ‘Check here if your household is a beneficiary’.
2. Select the type of identification document (ID card, identity card, civil registry, etc.) and enter the number.
3. Please enter your date of birth.
4. Click on the ‘I’m not a robot’ button and then on the ‘Check’ option. The platform will then tell you if you are one of the beneficiaries.
