The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) is taking multiple measures to ensure the safety of airline operations amid widespread attention to civil aviation safety caused by major security incidents involving Azerbaijan Airlines and Jeju Air of the Republic of Korea, an official said Friday at a news conference.
Shu Mingjiang, director of aviation safety of the CAAC, stated at the conference that the CAAC has systematically carried out safety risk assessments and investigations of flight operations in accordance with Chinese civil aviation laws and regulations, as well as as well as relevant international civil aviation requirements.
